Dunil's Hold Released

The app is out! The release process was relatively painless for a first app. As someone who had never really used Xcode or Swift just three months ago, the whole experience was nice. Apple documentation can be hard to navigate when you know what you want but are unsure how it's worded. Thankfully, there are ways to find out what you need to know fairly easily.

I’ve already pushed two updates, which include fixes and improvements. Focusing now on stability and planned refactoring post-launch. The next big update, v2, is in planning and dev.

As of now, I am not really announcing the app outside this space and to a few friends. I’m focusing on building this out more than advertising it for now. While the game is “complete” in that there is a goal, and you can obtain it, it’s still very much a work in progress. I will reveal more about v2 soon.
